In 2010, the then Emperor and Empress of Japan enjoyed this cherry blossom bun during their stay in Ito.
Each cherry leaf from Matsuzaki-cho, Izu, is glued by hand and steamed with salty cherry bean paste wrapped in cherry-colored dough to create this Sakura Manju that brings out the colors of spring.
